PSG pause transfers but keep Maghnes Akliouche in summer plans

Paris Saint-Germain have decided to temporarily shut down their transfer activity as they enter the decisive stretch of their season, with full focus on Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

According to French outlet Onze Mondial, the club’s hierarchy believes any off‑pitch distractions could affect the squad’s concentration at a time when every result matters.

Luis Campos, PSG’s football adviser, has reportedly frozen ongoing negotiations to ensure players remain locked in on the run‑in. Les Parisiens currently hold a six‑point cushion at the top of Ligue 1 over Lens and are also preparing for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, leaving no room for unnecessary noise around the dressing room.

Despite this pause, PSG’s interest in Monaco winger Maghnes Akliouche is described as concrete and unchanged. The highly rated French youngster is widely expected to leave Monaco in the summer and is seen as a strong candidate to bolster PSG’s attacking options. A move to the Parc des Princes is believed to appeal to Akliouche, who could take the next step of his career in the French capital once PSG reopen transfer talks after the season concludes.
