The incident dates back a month when Zlatan Ibrahimovic voiced his dissatisfaction with the food quality served to PSG players at Camp des Loges. The complaint from the Parisian club’s star striker led to the dismissal of two cooks.
Expressing a desire for fresher products, Ibrahimovic was taken aback by the limited amount allocated per day and player for subsistence, which was reportedly around 18 francs.
Ibrahimovic’s culinary criticisms did not go unnoticed. According to RMC, they resulted in the dismissal of two cooks who worked with chef Stéphane Michon. This abrupt termination occurred over the weekend.
Simultaneously, PSG manager Laurent Blanc announced during a press conference that the budget per meal had been increased. Additionally, the kitchen team was instructed to diversify the dishes and source fresh produce from the markets in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. These changes align with Ibrahimovic’s preferences.
