PSG not considering Lamine Yamal signing despite rumors
Despite ongoing online speculation, Paris Saint-Germain is not planning to pursue Barcelona’s young sensation Lamine Yamal.
Journalist Fabrice Hawkins addressed the rumors on an Aliotalk podcast, insisting that neither PSG sporting director Luis Campos nor coach Luis Enrique have given any approval for such a move.
“What I can tell you is that in the current PSG, neither Luis Enrique nor Luis Campos has given the green light for the arrival of Lamine Yamal,”
Hawkins said, clarifying the club’s stance. He added that the signing would disrupt PSG’s current plans, and estimated: “If they have to go after Yamal, it will cost more than 200 million euros.”
Hawkins concluded, “At that price, and considering PSG’s current squad, will they go after Yamal? I don’t think so at all.”
Yamal, who recently suffered an injury similar to ones Lionel Messi endured in his career, remains a bright prospect for Barcelona.
For now, PSG is focused on its existing roster and strategy, leaving fans and pundits to speculate about future transfers that may never materialize.
