Paris Saint-Germain are not wasting time when it comes to securing one of their brightest young stars.
The French giants are preparing to begin talks with Bradley Barcola over a new contract, per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Barcola, 22, has made a big impression in Paris since joining from Lyon in the summer of 2023. The winger’s current deal runs until 2028, but PSG are eager to reward him for a stellar season and lock him down for even longer.
According to Romano, both PSG and the player’s representatives are expected to meet soon to start discussions.
Club officials and head coach Luis Enrique are said to be very pleased with Barcola’s progress and impact. His performances have made him a fan favourite and a key part of the club’s attacking plans going forward.
Barcola delivered 21 goals and 18 assists across 58 appearances last season, justifying the €42 million PSG paid to bring him in from Lyon. With negotiations on the way, Paris looks set to build even more around the exciting winger.
