PSG linked with Leverkusen attacking midfielder Ibrahim Maza
Ibrahim Maza, the Algerian-German attacking midfielder at Leverkusen, has been linked with a move to Paris St-Germain.
The 20-year-old joined Leverkusen from Hertha BSC for €12m in July 2025 and remains under contract until June 2030. His market value is listed at €50m.
Maza has started all six of Leverkusen’s Bundesliga matches this season, scoring twice and providing two assists. He has also scored once in the Europa League and supplied an assist in the DFB-Pokal.
The reported interest from PSG would see Maza move from the Bundesliga to Ligue 1, although there is no indication that a transfer has been agreed. The available information does not include a probability for the move or a proposed fee.
Born in Berlin, Maza is eligible to represent both Algeria and Germany and featured in all four of his side’s matches at the 2026 World Cup. His current campaign has included 94% of Leverkusen’s available Bundesliga minutes, with a goal involvement in 25% of the club’s league games.
Maza’s previous move to Leverkusen came after he had progressed through Hertha’s youth system and made the step into senior football with the Berlin club. His long-term contract leaves Leverkusen in a strong position should PSG pursue the attacking midfielder.
