Expressing concerns about his playing time and a desire to secure a spot in the French national team, Mamadou Sakho has been transparent about his wish to depart from PSG. The Franco-Senegalese defender’s potential move appears to be progressing as Laurent Blanc, the coach of the Parisian club, acknowledged on Friday that Sakho has expressed his intention to leave.
Blanc stated in a press conference, “He expressed a desire to find a solution. The club also has a very clear position. Until September 2 and the end of the transfer window, the situation will evolve. We will try to find the best solution for the player and the club.” It seems Sakho, in search of regular playing time, is willing to explore opportunities elsewhere. Several prestigious clubs, including AC Milan and notably Liverpool, are reportedly gearing up to make offers for the talented defender.
