According to Le 10 Sport, PSG’s choice of Laurent Blanc as coach wasn’t the club’s first preference. The management reportedly approached several high-profile coaches like Rafael Benitez, Guus Hiddink, Fabio Capello, and André Villas-Boas, but all declined the offers. Laurent Blanc, initially considering an opportunity in Turkey, was eventually convinced by PSG to stay after extensive negotiations.
