Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly still interested in signing France defender of Guinean descent, Dayot Upamecano.

Upamecano’s contract with Bayern runs until 2026, but negotiations for an extension have reportedly stalled due to the player’s financial demands.

Although the German champions are eager to continue working with the 27-year-old, talks have yet to yield an agreement.

According to RMC Sport, PSG are closely monitoring the situation and are prepared to make an offer should Upamecano decide against renewing his deal with Bayern Munich. The report also claims that Real Madrid have already made contact with the player’s representatives.

For now, Bayern remain in active discussions with Upamecano’s camp, hoping to reach an agreement that would keep the defender in Munich beyond his current contract.

The player has recently disclosed that he is receiving advice and will make the best decision on his future at the right time.
