PSG eye Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi in €40m move

Germany-Nigeria right winger Karim Adeyemi of Borussia Dortmund is being linked with a summer switch to Paris Saint-Germain, with the French champions reportedly assessing a move for the 24-year-old.

Transfermarkt data lists Adeyemi’s market value at €40.00m and puts the probability of a transfer at 44%, underlining that talks remain at rumour stage rather than an advanced negotiation. There is no recorded expiry date on his Dortmund deal, and there is currently no indication he is close to becoming a free agent or that his contract has expired.

Born in München on 18 January 2002 and standing at 1.80m, Adeyemi represents both German and Nigerian heritage and is a left-footed attacker who operates primarily as a right winger. He wears the No 27 shirt for Dortmund and has developed a reputation for direct running and high pressing across the Bundesliga and European competition.

The speculation comes on the back of a campaign in which Adeyemi has continued to feature in Dortmund’s attack, including recent outings in the Bundesliga and Europe. In one of his latest notable performances for Dortmund – a high-tempo fixture in which the German side recorded a narrow win – he featured prominently on the flank, stretching the opposition back line and contributing to the team’s pressing game, even if he did not get on the scoresheet.

Adeyemi’s career has already taken him from Germany’s youth system into one of Europe’s most prominent development clubs in Dortmund, with the winger now being monitored by a Ligue 1 powerhouse seeking further attacking depth.

If a move to PSG were to materialise, it could mark the next step in Adeyemi’s rise, offering a fresh platform in Paris to shape his reputation at the top level and test his potential in a new league.
