PSG confirm double injury setback for Dembele and Doue
Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue face spells on the sidelines after sustaining injuries while on duty with France.
The news comes at a crucial stage of the season, leaving Luis Enrique with limited attacking options for the weeks ahead.
In an official statement, the club said, “Ousmane Dembélé suffers from a severe injury to the right hamstring, he’s set to be unavailable for an estimated 6 weeks.
“Désiré Doué suffers from a right calf injury and is set to be out of action for an estimated 4 weeks, the club announces via medical report.”
Both players will miss the rest of September’s games, a run that includes tough Ligue 1 matches and the start of the Champions League group stage. Dembele’s creativity and pace have been key for PSG, while Doue has quickly grown into a valuable part of Enrique’s plans.
The absence of the pair will test the squad’s depth and could push other players to step forward during this demanding period.
