PSG confirm Dembele and Hakimi fit for Champions League final
PSG’s Champions League final squad is complete, with Ousmane Dembele and Achraf Hakimi both fully fit and officially included ahead of Saturday’s showdown against Arsenal at Budapest’s Puskas Arena.
Luis Enrique named a 24-man squad after Thursday’s final training session in Paris, with the French champions flying to Budapest on Friday.
The selection brings young forward Quentin Ndjantou back into the fold after he was absent from first-team action since the winter break. PSG will land at their hotel at noon on Friday, followed by a pre-match press conference and training session.
The club showed strong support for its players by inviting five family members per squad member to travel on a special flight to Hungary.
Dembele and Hakimi had been doubts after missing recent team training, but both are now cleared to play. Their return is crucial for PSG, who need their full-strength attack and defensive solidity against Arsenal.
The highly anticipated final will kick off Saturday evening, with Paris hoping to finally claim Europe’s biggest prize.
