After striking a deal with Paris Saint-Germain, Yohan Cabaye is set to undergo his medical examination on Wednesday to finalize his three and a half-year contract. PSG will pay 20 million euros plus an additional 5 million in bonuses.
Aurelien Chedjou, a former teammate of Cabaye at Lille, shared his thoughts on the midfielder.
“He will never have an ego problem. Off the field, he’s a great guy. I’m not just saying this because he’s my friend. He’s genuinely a good person. I remember a particular conversation in the locker room: we all wanted to play. Yohan said it wasn’t his time because others had performed better in training and deserved to start. So, yes, he’s competitive but always puts the team first. He’ll have no trouble fitting in at Paris,” Chedjou explained about Cabaye on RMC.
