Nasser Al Khelaïfi, serving as the president of Paris Saint-Germain and the Qatar Tennis Federation, has been appointed as a minister in his country. This appointment to the Qatari government occurred two weeks ago during his visit to Doha. Despite being a key figure in the Ile-de-France club, he has not been assigned specific duties at this moment, as reported by Le Parisien.

Initially, his role will lack tangible activities. Although closely associated with Emir Tamim bin-Hamad al-Thani, the PSG president is expected to step down from his current roles within a few years to undertake “high political responsibilities.”
