The agent of French midfielder Paul Pogba, Mino Raiola, reportedly met with Sheikh Al Thani, the owner of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), in Doha. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, during the meeting, PSG expressed its willingness to offer Pogba a salary of 7 million euros net per season. However, Juventus is planning to extend Pogba’s contract with a new salary of 4 million euros per year in the coming week.
The reported 3 million euro difference in the salary offers has raised concerns, and it’s suggested that this might lead Pogba to refuse the contract extension with Juventus. PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, had previously confirmed the club’s interest in Pogba, describing him as a great player and a representative of France’s future.
