Ghanaian striker Prince Kwabena Adu has expressed his desire to earn a maiden call-up to the Black Stars as he continues to impress in Europe with Viktoria Plzeň.
The 21-year-old, who is preparing for a crucial Europa League clash against Lazio, hopes his standout performances at club level will attract the attention of Ghana’s national team selectors.
Adu previously received an invitation to train with the Black Stars in 2020 but did not make an official appearance. However, his recent form in the Czech Republic has bolstered his confidence of securing a spot in the squad.
Speaking to Ghanasoccernet.com, Adu said, “My goal is to work hard and earn a place in the national team. Representing Ghana would be a dream come true, and I believe my performances can help the team achieve success.”
The forward believes his time in Europe has significantly improved his game, adding, “Playing at this level has helped me mature as a player. I am focused on giving my best and making my country proud.”
Adu’s ambition remains clear as he looks to make a lasting impact both at club and international level.
