Prince Badu transfer rumour: Asante Kotoko midfielder linked with Hadia Hosaina

Ghanaian midfielder Prince Badu is being linked with a move from Asante Kotoko to Ethiopian Premier League club Hadia Hosaina.

The reported interest comes just months after Badu joined Asante Kotoko from Nations FC on 1 January 2026. The 26-year-old signed a contract that runs until 30 June 2028, meaning any transfer would involve a player still tied to the Ghanaian club rather than one approaching the end of his deal.

Badu has played in the Premier League during his career, making 60 appearances and scoring one goal. He operates in midfield and is currently registered with Asante Kotoko, who also compete in Ghana’s top flight.

Hadia Hosaina are also listed as a Premier League club in Ethiopia, so the proposed move would represent a switch between top-flight sides in different countries. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the rumour remains unconfirmed.

Badu’s current market value is listed at €75,000. He previously represented Nations FC before moving to Asante Kotoko at the start of 2026, the only transfer recorded in his senior career history.
