This omission left Kimpembe baffled and frustrated, as he had been told by PSG’s medical team that he was ready to return after recovering from a serious Achilles injury sustained in February 2023.
Born in Beaumont-sur-Oise, France, to a Congolese father and Afro-Haitian mother, Kimpembe is eager to return to top-tier competition. Despite feeling fully fit and receiving medical clearance, PSG manager Luis Enrique continues to insist that Kimpembe is still in the recovery phase.
