Ahead of the Premier League match against West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood provided updates on the squad’s availability for the game. The official Spurs website reported that Etienne Capoue, the Guadeloupean midfielder, has returned to training but will not feature in the match as he is considered unfit to face West Ham.
Additionally, Moussa Dembélé, the Belgian midfielder of Malian origin, will also be absent from the squad due to an ongoing ankle injury. Sherwood stated that there has been no improvement in Dembélé’s condition, and he continues to experience pain in his ankle. Dembélé has struggled with this injury throughout the season, limiting his playing time and affecting his performance on the field.
Despite these setbacks, Tottenham is determined to secure a positive result against West Ham. Currently sitting in 6th place in the Premier League standings with 66 points collected in 36 matches, Spurs are keen to maintain their recent good form.
