Samir Nasri Doubts Liverpool’s Title Chances Amid Tough Schedule
Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has expressed serious doubts about Liverpool’s ability to compete for the Premier League title this season. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Nasri highlighted the challenges facing the Reds, particularly their congested fixture list.
“Liverpool will find it more difficult. They lost Luis Suarez and they will be playing in the Champions League. It will be different for them,” said Nasri. “Last season, they only had the Premier League to play in the last few months. This gave them an advantage because their players were fresher to play the last matches of the season.”
According to Nasri, the main challengers to Manchester City’s crown will be Chelsea and Manchester United, with Liverpool’s demanding schedule potentially hindering their title bid. The French midfielder’s comments underscore the intense competition expected in the league this season.
