Premier League clubs eye Lille defender Ngal’ayel Mukau
Lille’s 21-year-old centre-back Ngal’ayel Mukau is attracting serious interest from England ahead of the summer transfer window.
His standout season has impressed European scouts, and three Premier League clubs are now closely tracking the Congo international.
Everton, Aston Villa and Tottenham are all reported to be keen on Mukau’s profile, with English bosses already preparing summer bids. Tottenham are hunting a young defender to strengthen their back line, and they particularly admire Mukau’s physical power. Aston Villa have followed his progress for months, while Everton remain very active in this important deal as they look to build a competitive squad quickly.
Mukau holds a long contract until June 2028, and Lille are asking for around €40 million to sell him. That high price tag has not deterred the English suitors, who have considerable financial resources.
This season, the defender confirmed his huge defensive potential with 42 matches across all competitions and two important goals. He already has 12 caps for Congo, and his future could quickly be written in England.
