Wolverhampton Wanderers have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of Zimbabwean midfielder Marshall Munetsi in the recently concluded January transfer window.

The 28-year-old joins the Premier League outfit on a permanent deal from Stade Reims, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal with an option for an extra year.

Munetsi is expected to play a huge role for Wolves as the team battel against relegation in the ongoing campaign.

The Premier League outfit reportedly snapped up the Zimbabwean midfielder for €20 million.

Known for his flexibility and powerful presence, Munetsi played in 159 games for Reims, contributing 14 assists and scoring 21 goals.

Munetsi joins former Reims teammate Emmanuel Agbadou at Molineux.

Wolves are currently 17th on the Premier League standings, and Munetsi’s addition provides much-needed depth and skill to the team.

Fans are keen to watch how he adjusts to English football and assists his new club in their survival efforts.
