Nicolas Nkoulou, the defender for Olympique de Marseille, has denied recent reports suggesting negotiations with Arsenal for a potential transfer in the upcoming summer. Several English media outlets had claimed that an agreement was in place between Arsenal and Nkoulou. However, the Cameroonian international has refuted these rumors.
Nkoulou clarified, stating, “Nothing is being done with Arsenal. These are just noises in the newspapers. I like Arsenal as a fan of good football, but that doesn’t mean I’ll join them. I will talk about my future this summer. I know that OM wants to balance its books and that I am an asset for them.”
In addition to Arsenal, FC Barcelona and AC Milan have also been reported to have an interest in the Marseille defender.
