Ghilas capitalized on a cross at the far post and skillfully beat the opposing goalkeeper with a single touch. He entered the game as a substitute for Ricardo Quaresma, who had opened the scoring earlier.
With this victory, the three-time defending champions are likely to face Benfica in the semi-final. Benfica secured their spot with a 1-0 win against Penafiel (D2). The two-legged semi-final is scheduled for March 26 at Dragao and April 16 at La Luz.
