Pitso Mosimane’s Bafana Bafana coaching staff confirmed

Pitso Mosimane’s complete Bafana Bafana technical team has been confirmed by the South African Football Association (SAFA) ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

Bafana Bafana begin their three-match camp against Guinea at Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday. They will then play Eritrea in Egypt before remaining there to meet the Pharaohs in a friendly on 4 October.

Mosimane was initially appointed alongside Musi Matlaba, who became head analyst, and Kabelo Rangoaga, the team’s strength and conditioning coach.

Morena Ramoreboli was subsequently brought in as assistant coach after stepping down from his position as Botswana head coach.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly manager confirmed on Monday that Marcus Mashilo had joined the staff as goalkeeper coach. Two further analysts have also been added for the camp.

“Marcus Mashilo joins the camp as the new goalkeeper coach, Tshepo Mahao will be assistant analyst while Goolam Valodia is the opposition analyst during the three-match camp that begins with the AFCON qualifier against Guinea,” SAFA stated.
