Pierre Kalulu draws Premier League attention amid Juventus talks
Pierre Kalulu’s outstanding season at Juventus has put him firmly on the radar of several Premier League clubs as contract talks in Turin hit a delicate stage.
The French defender was a mainstay for the Bianconeri, starting 49 of 50 matches in all competitions and chipping in with two goals and seven assists, underlining his value at both ends of the pitch.
Juventus are determined to keep the 26-year-old and have opened negotiations over improved terms, despite his current deal already running until 2029 and carrying a €12 million amortization weight on the club’s books. However, there is still a clear gap to bridge: the club have tabled an offer of €3.5 million per year, while Kalulu is pushing for around €4 million plus bonuses.
That stand-off has alerted sides in England. According to Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United have repeatedly dispatched scouts to watch Kalulu live, showing concrete interest in the versatile defender.
Tottenham Hotspur, now led by Roberto De Zerbi, are also closely following developments as they assess potential defensive reinforcements ahead of next season. Juventus, though, hope to move swiftly to secure Kalulu’s future before Premier League interest turns into formal bids.
