Pharco kept their fine run going in the Egyptian Capital Cup with a hard fought 2 to 1 win over Enppi on Wednesday night in Alexandria, a result that pushed them clear at the top of their group and underlined their growing confidence in the competition.
Enppi struck first when Ali Mahmoud found the net in the 51st minute, briefly putting the pressure on the home side. Pharco stayed calm, moved the ball with more purpose, and were rewarded when Ahmed El Bahrawi leveled the score in the 65th minute. Eight minutes later, Senegalese forward Babacar Ndiaye finished a swift attack to seal a deserved victory.
The win lifted Pharco to nine points from three matches, giving them a firm grip on Group A. Enppi remain second with six points, while Tala’ea El Gaish sit third on three points on goal difference behind Ghazl El Mahalla and Al Ahly. Al Mokawloon Al Arab are still without a point.
Elsewhere, Ismailia Electricity drew 1 to 1 with Alexandria Union, leaving both sides searching for momentum.
