Peter Olayinka is being linked with a move to Turkish side Amed SK as the free agent weighs up his next club following his departure from Red Star Belgrade.

The 30-year-old left winger, currently listed as “Without Club” after leaving the Serbian champions in late October 2025, is the subject of transfer speculation on the continent, with Amed SK of the Turkish 1. Lig reported as a potential destination. The likelihood of the switch is unclear, with the rumour carrying only a “?” probability rating at this stage.

Olayinka, born in Ibadan on 16 November 1995 and capped at club level across several European leagues, is valued at around €3.50m according to the latest market assessments, a figure that may appeal to a second-tier Turkish side seeking top-flight experience at relatively low cost in terms of transfer outlay. As a free agent, he would command no fee, leaving only wages and bonuses to negotiate.

The Nigerian, a 1.88m right-footed attacker who operates primarily on the left flank, built his reputation with Slavia Prague, where his market value once peaked at €7m during a productive spell that included domestic success and European appearances. Stints at KAA Gent and Zulte Waregem in Belgium, as well as earlier spells with FK Dukla Prague, KF Skënderbeu and FK Bylis in Albania, underline a career spent adapting to varied tactical systems and competitive environments.

Olayinka most recently saw his valuation decline from €6m at Red Star in mid-2024 to €3.50m by October 2025, reflecting reduced prominence before his exit.

Should the mooted move to Amed SK materialise, it would offer Olayinka a chance to re-establish himself in a new market and potentially reopen the path towards a higher-profile European stage.
