It’s now official: Peter Odemwingie, the Nigerian international striker from Cardiff City, has joined Stoke City until June 2015.
Manager Mark Hughes expressed his delight at the signing, emphasizing Odemwingie’s Premier League experience, determination, and speed, qualities that Stoke City values.
Odemwingie, aged 32, previously played for La Louvière before his transfer to West Bromwich Albion in September. However, his time at Cardiff City saw limited playing opportunities.
In a parallel move, Trinidadian striker Kenwyne Jones, aged 29, is heading in the opposite direction. Jones, who joined Stoke last summer, played 13 matches and scored one goal across all competitions during his time with the club.
