Peter Odemwingie has joined Bristol City on loan from Stoke City for the remainder of the season, with hopes that the Nigerian striker will provide an immediate impact. This move comes after a limited role at Stoke, where Odemwingie has played just seven matches across all competitions this season.
Bristol’s manager Lee Johnson is excited to bring in the experienced forward, saying, “I’m delighted that we were able to bring in someone like Peter who has qualities. He will bring us his experience and I hope some goals.”
Odemwingie, known for his time at Lille between 2004-2007, will be looking to revive his form and contribute significantly to Bristol City’s push in the Championship. He could make his debut as soon as Saturday in their match against Fulham.
