Peter Amoran linked with Mantova move as Parma defender attracts Serie B interest
Swedish-Nigerian defender Peter Amoran is the subject of a reported move from Serie A club Parma to Serie B side Mantova.
The 22-year-old centre-back remains under contract with Parma until 30 June 2027, but Mantova are being linked with a move for the right-footed defender during the current transfer window.
Amoran joined Parma from the club’s Under-19 side on 1 February 2024. He spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Perugia before moving to Cesena for the 2025-26 season. That loan ended on 30 June, bringing him back to Parma.
He has not made an appearance for Parma in the current campaign, with the club’s recorded 2026-27 statistics showing no starts or minutes in the Italy Cup.
Amoran was part of Parma’s squad when they won the Italian second division title in the 2023-24 season. Born in Abuja and standing 1.92m tall, he has Sweden and Nigeria listed as his nationalities.
A move to Mantova would keep Amoran in Italy’s professional league system while offering a potential change of club before the expiry of his Parma contract. The reported link remains unconfirmed, with the defender currently registered as a Parma player.
