Pepin Machin: Casarano eye move for Vis Pesaro attacking midfielder
Pepin Machin, the Equatorial Guinea-born Spanish attacking midfielder currently at Vis Pesaro, is being linked with a move to fellow Serie C side Casarano. The 29-year-old, who plays primarily as an attacking midfielder, is under contract with Vis Pesaro until 30 June 2027 but has emerged as a potential target for the Serie C – C outfit as they look to add experience and creativity to their squad.
Machin joined Vis Pesaro in October 2025 after a brief spell without a club, and is currently valued at around €200,000. His extensive experience in Italian football, particularly in Serie B, is thought to be a key factor in Casarano’s interest, with the club seeking proven options in the final third ahead of the new campaign.
Over the course of his career, Machin has made 135 appearances in Serie B, scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists, and has also featured in Serie A and LaLiga2. Domestically, his honours include winning the Serie C Group A title with Monza in 2019–20, underlining his familiarity with Italy’s lower divisions and promotion races.
Born in Bata in 1996 and standing at 1.84m, the right-footed midfielder has spent much of his professional career in Italy after coming through youth systems in Spain, including Malaga, before earning a move to Roma’s youth ranks. Subsequent stints at Pescara, Parma, Monza and loan spells across Serie A and Serie B have added to his reputation as a seasoned campaigner in the Italian game.
For now, Machin remains a Vis Pesaro player with a year left after this season on his deal, leaving the club in a strong contractual position should Casarano decide to formalise their interest.
