Paul Pogba is exploring options for a short-term move before making a significant transfer in the summer, with the midfielder eyeing potential stints in MLS, Brazil, or Turkey, according to Foot Mercato.
The World Cup winner, currently a free agent after Juventus terminated his contract in November 2024, couldn’t secure a club during the winter transfer window. While Pogba’s availability on a free transfer as a France international should have been an attractive proposition, his current ban, which prevents him from playing until March 11th, has complicated negotiations.
Several clubs, including Marseille, had shown interest but were deterred by his suspension. Now, Pogba has turned his attention to the MLS, Brazil, or Turkey as viable destinations, with clubs in these leagues still able to make moves with their transfer windows open. The 31-year-old can begin training with any team now, positioning himself for a return to action by mid-March, ahead of his expected move in the summer transfer window.
