PAUL POGBA: PSG OR REAL MADRID? THE FUTURE BECKONS
After a standout performance for Juventus in a commanding 3-0 win over Lazio, Paul Pogba is again at the center of a transfer tug-of-war. The Franco-Guinean midfielder, who recently extended his contract with the Bianconeri until 2019, continues to attract serious interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
Zinedine Zidane, currently on the Real Madrid coaching staff, sang Pogba’s praises:
“If he continues like this, he will simply become one of the greatest.”
This has fueled speculation that Pogba might follow Zidane’s path — from Juventus to Madrid. However, Le 10 Sport reports that Juventus extended Pogba’s contract as a strategic move to protect their asset amid growing pressure from clubs like PSG.
PSG, under Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has long been an admirer of Pogba. Their pursuit was delayed last summer due to Financial Fair Play constraints, but they are expected to return with a strong offer in the next window.
As Pogba’s stock rises, so does the intensity of the speculation. Will he return to France to help PSG conquer Europe? Or will he take up Zidane’s legacy in Madrid?
For now, Juventus remains the perfect ground for growth — but for how long?
