Paul Pogba reiterated his strong connection to Juventus Turin in an interview with Sky Sport Italia. The French midfielder, who is a fervent supporter of the Old Lady, disclosed that despite Sir Alex Ferguson’s attempts to retain him at Manchester United, the persuasive arguments did not sway him. Pogba revealed that during that period, other clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and AC Milan, expressed interest, but his heart was set on Juventus.
Expressing his childhood admiration for the Bianconeri, Pogba said, “No one is like Juve. I have always loved Juve since my childhood; I have always supported the Bianconeri. For the French, this club means a lot. There have been so many French champions who have played in Turin, and that’s why I loved Juve. I am happy to be here and want to win many trophies with this jersey,” declared the Blues midfielder, expressing his commitment to achieving success with Juventus.
