France international Olivier Giroud has opened up about the future of Franco-Guinean star Paul Pogba following his return from suspension.
Pogba, a member of the France squad that won the 2018 World Cup in Russia has been cleared to return to the pitch after completing his doping ban suspension last month.
The former Manchester United star ban was reduced from four years to just 18-months after appeal. Meanwhile, Pogba will have to find himself a new club after terminating contract with Juventus after the reduction of his ban.
The midfielder is attracting interest from the MLS and also Japan. Olympique de Marseille reportedly considered a move but did not want to bring him in before the end of the season.
Speaking to the Téléfoot, Giroud, who shared the dressing room with Pogba at Franec said, “I was really happy to see him, but I think he has to get used to staying in Europe. To be honest with you, I think he has that ambition.”
Meanwhile, Pogba has not yet made up his mind about his future as the summer transfer window approaches.
