Paul Pogba aiming to sign for a Champions League club to mark return
French midfielder of Guinea descent, Paul Pogba has disclosed that he is aiming to sign for a top club to mark his return to football.
The once highly-rated midfielder is a free agent after partying ways with Juventus, a side he played for before his suspension due to doping.
Thanks to a successful appeal, Paul Pogba had the suspension slashed from four years to 18 months.
The former Manchester United star is now set to return to action in March.
Speaking to Twitch streamer AmineMaTue, Paul Pogba revealed he has already received some offers from various clubs interested in his services.
He noted that he relishes signing for a club that is already playing in the Uefa Champions League.
“There are offers, some interesting, some less so… Russia, yes, there have been offers, but it is not my objective. We have other objectives.
“A club that plays in the Champions League? Why not. If it comes, of course, why not. We always aim for the best clubs.
“After that, however, it does not only depend on me, but on many other things,” Pogba said.
