Paul Onuachu poised for Charlotte FC move
Charlotte FC is eyeing Southampton forward Paul Onuachu as a potential replacement for Karol Świderski, who is set to leave the club.
Sources reveal that the 30-year-old Nigerian is being closely monitored by the MLS side as they prepare for the new season.
Onuachu has struggled for game time under Southampton’s Ivan Jurić and could find a fresh start at Charlotte FC, who are looking to bolster their attack.
The Nigerian striker impressed during a loan spell at Trabzonspor, scoring 17 goals in 25 appearances.
Charlotte’s recent signing of Wilfried Zaha underscores their ambition, and Onuachu could provide the finishing quality needed to fill Świderski’s void.
Both the player and club are reportedly keen on a deal, with Onuachu’s goal-scoring record making him an attractive prospect for the MLS side.
