Paul Onuachu emerges as Al-Ahli SC target in potential Qatar move

Nigerian centre-forward Paul Onuachu, currently with Trabzonspor, has been linked with a move to Qatari club Al-Ahli SC.

The 32-year-old is contracted to Trabzonspor until 30 June 2028, meaning any departure would involve a player under an existing long-term agreement rather than a free transfer. Onuachu’s listed market value is €6m.

Onuachu joined Trabzonspor in Turkey’s Super Lig and has established his current club as the starting point for speculation over a possible move to the Stars League. Al-Ahli SC are the club named as his potential destination, although the rumour has not been presented as a completed transfer.

The proposed switch would see the Nigeria international leave Turkish football for Qatar, with the clubs operating in the Super Lig and Stars League respectively. No transfer fee, contract terms or completion date have been reported alongside the link.
