Paul-Georges Ntep Drawing Major Interest: Rennes Set Price at €15 Million
Paul-Georges Ntep could be on the move soon. The Stade Rennais winger is attracting strong interest from both Premier League giants and Ligue 1’s top tier, with clubs circling ahead of a potential winter or summer transfer.
According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain see the French U21 international as a possible replacement for Ezequiel Lavezzi, while Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, and Newcastle are all monitoring his situation closely.
Rennes are aware of Ntep’s rising value and have reportedly set his price between €14–15 million. Like Kurt Zouma and Divock Origi before him, one possible scenario could involve a buy-and-loan-back deal, allowing him to finish the season in Rennes before joining his new club.
With five goals and three assists already in Ligue 1 this season and a contract running until 2017, Ntep remains one of the hottest young prospects in French football. A meeting has already taken place in Brittany with interested parties — the door is clearly open.
