Saint-Etienne is dealt a significant blow as their new recruit, Paul Baysse, suffered a left knee injury during a friendly match against Grenoble. The defender sustained a cruciate ligament rupture and is expected to be sidelined for six months. This unfortunate injury comes after Baysse had already experienced a similar injury to his other knee last January.
