Patrick Dorgu settling in quickly at Man United

Patrick Dorgu has shared a positive early impression of life at Manchester United, admitting the city already feels familiar in some ways.

The young defender said Manchester’s pace and atmosphere remind him of Copenhagen, even if the skies are usually grey. “It reminds me a bit of Copenhagen. Pretty calm. The weather’s not great, but I’m used to that,” he said, reflecting on his move to England.

Dorgu grew up in Husum, Denmark, where he first kicked a ball for local side Husum Boldklub alongside his brothers Ifenna and Gabriel. Those early days shaped both his personality and his sense of style, something he is still refining today.

He explained that his older brother was his first real fashion influence. “He’s always had good style, so I’d look at what he was wearing and take ideas from that,” Dorgu admitted. Now, teammates such as William Osula and Joshua Zirkzee also inspire him, with their simple and clean looks matching the kind of understated fashion he prefers as he settles into his new surroundings.
