Patrick Dorgu says he’s finally finding his rhythm at Manchester United following his February arrival.
The 20-year-old left-back, born in Denmark to Nigerian parents, made his first Premier League start on 26 February 2025 at Old Trafford against Ipswich Town. Since then, Dorgu has been working to adjust to life at the club and settle into his role on the pitch.
“It’s been tough, challenging, but I’m happy I played a lot. I think the manager trusts me and I try to help the team, so I’m just happy to be on the pitch and I try to do my best.
“It’s a bit different from my old team but I was playing attacking there as well,” Dorgu adds.
“I just need to adapt to the players and how everyone moves on the pitch.”
Dorgu’s progress hasn’t gone unnoticed. In September 2024, he earned his first senior call-up to the Denmark national team for the Nations League matches against Switzerland and Serbia, building on his experience with Denmark’s U-21 side.
