Paris Saint-Germain v Barcelona: Ousmane Dembele starts as Hamza Abdelkarim named among substitutes

Ousmane Dembele leads the Paris Saint-Germain attack for their UEFA Champions League meeting with Barcelona, while Egypt international Hamza Abdelkarim has been named on the Spanish side’s bench.

The match is being played in the third round of the competition’s league phase.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has selected Matvey Safonov in goal, with Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez forming the defence.

Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha and Joao Neves are the midfield trio, while Desire Doue, Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia make up the front three.

Barcelona have Joan Garcia in goal. Their defence consists of Joao Cancelo, Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin and Xavi Espart.

Dani Olmo, Pedri and Marc Bernal will play in midfield, with Antony Jodren, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal selected in attack.

Abdelkarim, who plays for Barcelona, will begin the game among the substitutes.
