Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Achraf Hakimi will receive medical treatment for two days after suffering a minor right-thigh injury in Monday’s 1-0 win away to Brest.
The Morocco full-back was forced off during the Ligue 1 match, with the injury appearing to affect his hamstring. Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique was unable to determine its severity in his post-match news conference.
The club said on its official website: “After suffering a minor injury to his right thigh during last night’s match against Brest, Achraf Hakimi will undergo medical treatment for two days.”
It added: “A further medical examination will be carried out at the end of this period.”
Hakimi therefore remains available to feature in Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 Classique against Olympique de Marseille next Sunday.
