Several clubs in the French Ligue 1 are interested in signing Angolan striker Afimico Pululu
The 26-year-old striker finished the recent UEFA Europa Conference League campaign as the competition’s top scorer.
He scored eight goals after making 12 appearances in the competition, as he outscored every player.
Pululu’s standout form in Europe, combined with an impressive season tally of 21 goals in 53 matches across all competitions, has caught the attention of several clubs in France.
According to Foot Mercato, newly promoted sides Paris FC, FC Metz, AJ Auxerre, and FC Lorient are all pursuing the DR Congo-born forward.
Paris FC are said to be particularly keen, as they prepare for a bold summer window following their promotion to the top flight.
Despite his European exploits, Pululu is expected to be an affordable target, with a transfer fee in the region of €3–4 million.
This makes him attractive to many clubs that are not financially strong enough to spend big on new signings.
The forward is expected to assess his options in the coming weeks before deciding on his next club.
