Paris FC consider €30m January move for Nuremberg striker Mohamed Ali Zoma

Paris FC are considering a move for Nuremberg forward Mohamed Ali Zoma as they look to strengthen their attack in the next winter transfer window, according to Fussball-News.

The 22-year-old has attracted attention with an impressive start to the season in the German second tier, scoring seven goals in eight appearances. His form has placed him among the emerging attacking players attracting interest across the European market.

Paris FC’s interest comes as the club assess its options in the final third. Zoma’s finishing and consistency in front of goal have made him a potential target, although any attempt to sign him would come at a substantial cost.

Nuremberg set high valuation

Nuremberg are understood to value Zoma at about €30m. That figure could prove a major obstacle for Paris FC if they decide to pursue the transfer.

The striker is under contract with the German club until June 2029, giving Nuremberg a strong negotiating position. Unless the club becomes willing to reduce its asking price, Paris FC would need to make a significant financial commitment to complete the deal.

Zoma, an Italian of Ivorian origin, is gradually establishing himself as a promising forward at the age of 22. His current scoring record has helped raise his profile after only a limited number of league fixtures.

The length of his contract also means Nuremberg are not under immediate pressure to sell. Paris FC would therefore need to convince both the player and his club if they are to make progress before the winter window closes.

European interest could increase competition

Paris FC are unlikely to be the only club monitoring Zoma’s performances. His early-season displays have already drawn attention, and further goals could lead to interest from other European sides.

That competition could make negotiations more difficult and potentially push the eventual fee higher. Paris FC must weigh the cost of the proposed investment against the prospect of securing a forward who is still developing but has made an immediate impact in the second division.

For now, no agreement is close and there is no confirmed outcome. Zoma remains one of the names to watch as the winter transfer window approaches, with Paris FC yet to decide whether they are prepared to meet Nuremberg’s valuation.

Paris FC will soon play Monaco in the ninth round of the French league.
