Senegalese winger Pape Ousmane Sakho has officially parted ways with Quevilly-Rouen Métropole (QRM), the club announced on Thursday. The de

The club expressed gratitude for Sakho’s contributions, stating, “By mutual agreement with QRM, our smiling and twirling winger is leaving the club.

We thank him for all the energy he brought us, as well as his involvement with the pros.

He will have played three matches with the Red & Yellow in Ligue 2 BKT last season, one match in the Coupe de France, for a total of eight call-ups to the professional squad in 2024/2025.

Good luck for the future Pape!”

Pape Ousmane Sakho joined QRM from Simba SC, where his impressive performances had caught the attention of the club’s scouts.

His journey began at Teungueth FC in Senegal, where his talent and agility on the field earned him recognition and a subsequent move to Tanzania.

At Simba SC, Sakho continued to showcase his abilities, which ultimately led to his recruitment by QRM.

Despite his promising potential, Sakho struggled to secure regular playing time at QRM.

During the 2024/2025 season, he made only three appearances in Ligue 2 BKT and one in the Coupe de France, totaling eight call-ups to the professional squad.

His limited on-field opportunities led both the club and the player to reevaluate their partnership, culminating in the amicable decision to part ways.

The termination of Sakho’s contract by mutual consent allows both parties to pursue new directions.

For Sakho, this means exploring fresh opportunities and new challenges in his football career.

As a free agent, he is now available to sign with other clubs, bringing his energy, commitment, and experience to a new team.

QRM’s acknowledgment of Sakho’s contributions underscores the positive impact he had during his time with the club, despite the limited appearances.

The club’s farewell message reflects a sense of appreciation for his dedication and professionalism.

As Pape Ousmane Sakho prepares to embark on the next chapter of his career, his experience across different leagues and his demonstrated potential make him an attractive prospect for clubs seeking a dynamic winger.

His ability to adapt to various playing styles and his previous successes at Teungueth FC and Simba SC highlight his readiness for new challenges.

The mutual separation between Pape Ousmane Sakho and QRM marks a significant moment for both the player and the club.

While QRM will move forward without one of their vibrant wingers, Sakho will look to leverage this transition as an opportunity to reignite his career elsewhere.

His journey continues as he seeks a new platform to showcase his skills and contribute to the success of another team.
