Pape Ndoye leaves Senegal for FC Nouadhibou in Mauritania
Senegalese midfielder Pape Ndoye has joined FC Nouadhibou from Sacre Cur on a free transfer, completing a move to Mauritania on 17 August 2026.
The defensive midfielder arrives after two years with Sacre Cur, having joined the Senegalese club from RCA Zemamra in July 2024. His switch to FC Nouadhibou represents the next step in a career that has so far been spent across clubs in Senegal and Morocco.
Ndoye made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 during his time at Sacre Cur, playing 2,241 minutes and providing one assist. He has operated primarily in defensive midfield and is right-footed.
The 1.85m player began his senior career with D. Diop FC before moving to Teungueth FC in July 2021. He spent the 2022-23 season with Teungueth FC and then transferred to RCA Zemamra in January 2023, also on a free transfer.
After leaving RCA Zemamra for Sacre Cur, Ndoye established himself in Ligue 1 before making the move to FC Nouadhibou. The Mauritanian club has now added a Senegal international to its midfield options, although Ndoye’s club record lists FC Nouadhibou as his national-club affiliation rather than detailing any separate senior international appearances.
Born in Dakar, Ndoye has spent his career moving between clubs in the region. His first four senior transfers have all been completed without a fee, with the latest taking him across the Senegal-Mauritania border.
Ndoye’s move to FC Nouadhibou was completed on 17 August 2026.
