Pape Lo leaves Phnom Penh for Abdysh-Ata Kant in free transfer

Pape Lo, a centre-back with Italian and Senegalese nationality, has joined Kyrgyzstan club Abdysh-Ata Kant from Phnom Penh on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old defender completes the move on 4 August 2026, ending his time with Phnom Penh in Cambodia’s C. Premier League. He will now play in Kyrgyzstan’s Jogorku Liga after switching clubs without a transfer fee.

Lo’s move represents a change of league and country for the experienced central defender, who had been part of Phnom Penh’s squad before agreeing to join Abdysh-Ata Kant. The transfer places him in a new domestic competition and gives the Kyrgyzstan club a player whose listed position is at the heart of the defence.
