Oussama Jalfate: Moroccan left-back returns to Union Touarga on free transfer
Moroccan defender Oussama Jalfate has rejoined Union Touarga on a free transfer from JS Massira, signing a contract with the Botola Pro Inwi side until 30 June 2028.
The 28-year-old left-back returns to the Rabat-based club for a second spell, having previously represented Union Touarga earlier in his career before moving on to JS Massira. His latest switch was completed on 26 July 2026 after his stint with the southern outfit.
Jalfate, born in Mohammadia and standing at 1.76m, has been a familiar presence in Moroccan domestic football, operating primarily as a left-back. He initially broke through at US Mohammedia before his first move to Union Touarga in 2018, and has since alternated between Union Touarga, Kenitra and JS Massira across a series of free transfers.
The defender’s most recent competitive action included appearances in league and cup competitions, totalling four matches and 360 minutes across the Botola Pro 1 relegation phase, the Coupe du Trone and the Excellence Cup. His experience across different levels of Moroccan football adds depth to Union Touarga’s defensive options on the left side.
Jalfate’s contract running to 2028 underlines Union Touarga’s commitment to the player as he embarks on another chapter with the Botola Pro Inwi club following his move from JS Massira on a free transfer.
